Hi, long time no chat. I had changed and matured quite a bit.

I have a lot more images and items that you might be interested, but not sure when I have the time pass them to you.

Too bad so many sites no longer exist, KOTEKOTE included.

Speaking of which, I saw a few artworks that you did and they are great.

BTW I guess you are somewhat famous now, so congrats. Since I recall reading an one full page article with photos a few years back, about you in our top selling newspaper from half a world away, on how to have a better lifestyle, concerning what you do for real.

P.S. Because I had further increased my large collection of normal non-English manga of all genre, so there are quite a lot of pics that would be hard to see even for Japanese who are only into the special interest manga. You would be surprised how much easier it is to have this in manga nowadays, since martial arts is a big theme in manga, regardless of genre at certain point.

But nothing is anywhere near as good as Meto, Tom, etcs Doujinshi.

I'll tell you one thing, the video game sucked ass because it was card based. If it was similar to the Smackdown vs Raw series, it would have been great!

Anyways, I'm waiting for my copy.

Depend on whatever floats your boat, in my humble opinion, you might consider getting Rumble Rose or DOA series, since they are easy to get in the States / Europe / Australasia and more 3D action oriented like WWE Smackdown VS Raw. But Rumble Rose does get tiresomely repetive and annoying very quickly, especially if you have to listern to the cheesy bad voice acting. But if you are into Anime/Manga wrestling, then have fun.

There was a WA (8th of the 11 WA series) for SNEC that was also fully animated in 2d instead the normal card mode. But you know what would be perfect? It would be WA characters and storyline, with Rumble Rose graphics and 3D gameplay, DOA costume selection and age selection option, Tekken / SoulCal character build, and WWE SvR moves selection build.

BTW, are you still using the same ISP and network connection as before, because you might have trouble receiving files as before.

CG!!! It has been a VERY long time, my friend. I hope all goes well for you ...

For those reading this that don't know, CG is a very knowledgeable fan who used to host the "CG'S fight club, 1 & 2" at Yahoo clubs (now groups); both of the groups went off the board several years back.

Yeah, the landscape has changed a lot over the past few years, as per websites in Japan. Some very good artists still running a few, but not nearly as many as there used to be, it seems.

Shoot me an email to d2bailey@hotmail.com

We can catch-up easier there, I think.

Point is cgf, card based gameplay isn't really a big thing like it was 10 years ago. Most gamers would like it better it they had actual control and decent gameplay.

I agree with you that we would prefer more control and gameplay, however having said that; blame Konami for the cheesy RR story and characters, instead of nitpicking WA.

IMHO, I think it will depend on the market segment and customer base. You have great games like Halo, Gears of war, etc that faired very poorly in Japan, and you have lame games like Pokemon, Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, etc that faired way too well then they really deserve, especially in Asia. (Granted, I like all of them, as an anime game fan, but that's beside the point.) So it would give you a perspective on the Asian market, preferring the beauty of static and cute instead of the beauty of volatile and chaos.

BTW, WA1 was 15 years ago. It has nothing to do with those lame card based games like Yugioh, WA precedes them all by at least 5 years. There also had been at least 5 rassling and 10 fighting Japanese games with all gal roster, with as much 2d or 2.5d control as technologically possible, but they came nowhere near WA series, and rightfully so. That is why WA had gone past the 10 title mark already, surpassing almost all games in this specialized genre until PS2 games.
