OST ... Wrestle Angels' never has had an anime tie-in. Manga, both wrestling and/or fan-service related, have popped-up, the OST's now and then, but no 'toons. The closest thing that I think we ever got, and somebody speak-up if I'm wrong, was a piece started by Kenichi Sonada, called "Wrestloid Baby", an Angelic Layer-type show about female-robot wrestling. To my knowledge, however, this never made it past pre-production phase and onto the airwaves. To bad ... Gun Smith Cats; Bubblegum Crisis; The Wanna-be's ... he would have done a great job, I should have thought. Maybe it was just too close to Clamp's "Angelic Layer", "Plawres Sanshiro", or the already done "Metal Fighters Miku" to get fully funded by a network ... below is the only design pic I've ever found of the show.

My guess would be that the pitch of the show wasn't falling into one of the current fads that are sort of dominating the animated stuff these days.

Though personally the mecha suit concept always tests my suspension of disbelief a bit too much, especially since pro wrestling itself is already an exercise in that. It's sort of a stretch to think that a boston crab somehow drains the "power level" of metal armor. Look, it's either broken or it isn't. ;)

But Plawres Sanshiro have not female wrestling, is only boy with his robot.

True about "Plawres", but the simple act of combining the wrestling-robots from that show, with the female-gender of the fighting dolls in "Angelic Layer", may just have not been "fresh" enough to get "Wrestloid Baby" on the air.

And yes, power-suits ... someday, maybe they'll get a real WA anime going. I know it was an idea in the early hopes of the gang at "Success" as they were ramping up the PS2 "WA - Survivor", but now, a year and a half later, no follow-up has been mentioned ... I thought maybe Konami might try it (they've got money to spend) for "Rumble Roses", but ...

This is like the Original Angelic Layer!
And Plawres Sanshiro is the Original Gotcha Force.
Yes there a game called Gotcha Force and it seem like a remake of Plawres Sanshiro (and Medabots) but it is by Capcom.
It would be awesome If the olds come back to make new episodes or a movie.
